Chasing adventure, Sam Reiser traveled the Americas from 2015-2020. Living off-grid in a range of different vehicles, Sam learned everything he could about efficient and sustainable off-grid electronics. His growing passion would inspire him to establish Just Roaming, a van conversion company in Portland, OR.

As Just Roaming developed a loyal and enthusiastic customer base, their reputation for designing innovative electronic systems quickly grew beyond the Portland market. Sam realized that the need for quality off-grid solutions far exceeded local van conversions.

Sam believed his team’s expertise and skill could be shared more widely. In 2023, he founded Artek, an off-grid energy company focused on distribution, eCommerce, custom-designed solutions, and expert support.
