Shipping policy

Shipping Tiers and Surcharges

  • Orders under $99 (Ground): market rate (select between USPS, FedEx, UPS)
  • Orders over $99 (Ground*): FREE
  • Freight Shipping (standard): $99 surcharge 
  • Oversized** items: $99 surcharge + cost of freight 
  • Expedited***

*Some items may be subject to additional charges due to weight, dimensions, fragility, or hazardous materials classifications.

**Oversized items include any item that must be shipped on a pallet larger than 40”x48”

***Artek offers multiple options for expedited shipping (see below). Expedited orders must be received before 1:00pm PST to ship same-day.

      • FedEx Standard Overnight 
      • FedEx Priority Overnight 
      • UPS 2nd Day Air 
      • UPS Next Day Air
      • Guaranteed freight (must call to request) 

All shipments automatically include insurance. Please inspect any freight shipments for damage upon arrival. Damage must be reported to and recorded by the driver to be eligible for claims. If this incident is not logged by the driver, then a claim cannot be filed. Artek does not cover damages incurred during shipping that are not recognized or covered by the freight carrier’s insurance. 

*Any missed products or discrepancies must be alerted to us within 30 days of delivery, otherwise you will be responsible for purchasing a new product.

 

Address Change Request

Address on File  

  • If you need to update your company's default shipping address, please send a request to sales@artek.energy. 
  • All Artek accounts have the ability to drop ship to any one-time address at checkout. If you have trouble entering a new address at checkout, please contact us.

Update Ship-to Address for Order

  • If you need to update the shipping address for an order that has already been placed, please contact us immediately.
  • If the package has not left our facility, we can change the address and print a new label.
  • If the package is already in transit, there is a minimum $50 address change fee. Depending on how far along the package is in it's journey, we may not be able to assist with this request. Shipping carriers have different policies and not all carriers will accommodate this request. 

 

 

Drop Shipping

Items that are drop shipped from an Artek location, currently incur no additional fees. 

Items that are drop shipped from a manufacturer's warehouse are subject to that company's shipping rates and policies. Artek is unable to provide shipping quotes when items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. 

 

Victron Energy Drop Shipping (updated 10/1/2024)

  • Shipments 50kg and under: $65 ordercost + $100
  • Shipments 50kg to 500kg: $65 ordercost + $300
  • Shipments 500kg and over: $65 ordercost + $500
  • If order contains Lithium batteries: Additional $200 fee

No drop shipping to: residential addresses, Amazon warehouses, ship centers (ex. UPS Store), distribution centers, hotels, PO boxes, marinas, campgrounds, storage units.

 

Victron RMA Drop Ship Policy 

  • In-state below 50kg: $100
  • In-state above 50kg: $160
  • Out-state below 50kg: $160
  • Out-state above 50kg: $220
